VOLTA PHYSICAL THERAPY

     Dr. Anna Laura Recine is a certified manual physical therapist, athletic trainer, and dance rehabilitation specialist, who recently opened her private practice in the heart of Bronxville, NY. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training in 2014, and earned her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy in 2017 from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. 

     Dr. Recine then began a meticulous 3-year manual therapy program through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, earning the title of "Certified Manual Physical Therapist" in May 2020. 

     Dr. Recine's 15-year background in dance drives her passion for movement. She worked the last 4 years in Manhattan, where she was rigorously trained and mentored to work backstage and in office with pre-professional and professional dancers from the most prestigious companies including New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. 

     She has had the opportunity to also work with performers in Broadway shows such as Moulin Rouge, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Carousel, Anastasia, and The Lion King.
